Bernard Vieira
Bernard is a Senior Manager and Café Coach for Capital One. At Capital One, Bernard sits on a committee that promotes and advocates for Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. Bernard is also a Trustee Member with the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. During his 27 years of management, his passion has been mentoring and developing people. Bernard's belief in Women's Empowerment and Social Equity was fueled by his work with a non-profit organization serving in Guatemala, which provided schooling, healthcare and housing for indigenous people.
Gemma Garcia
Co-Founder, CFO, & Board Treasurer
Gemma , a co-founder of LEAP, has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration (Baruch College and Pace University). Gemma has over 30 years of experience in banking and in trading emerging markets stocks and bonds. Gemma currently teaches classes for LEAP in the areas of business planning and budgeting.
Holly Woodbury
VP
Holly has more than 20 years’ experience in resource development leadership, management, and coaching for local, national and international non-profits. She has extensive knowledge in the areas of fundraising, soliciting major gifts, recruiting and managing volunteer leadership, creating communications strategies, researching and launching social enterprises, and establishing strategic partnerships.
Kevin Brown
Kevin is the owner and managing partner of a law firm that represents non-profits and a variety of small and emerging businesses. Kevin has more than 22 years of litigation, mediation and arbitration experience and more than 15 years’ experience in all aspects of entrepreneurship, business creation and development, and risk management. He provides expertise as well in the area of compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements.
Mahlia Lindquist
Executive Director

Mahlia Lindquist, Executive Director, is an attorney, and joined the LEAP family as a mentor. Mahlia is a Miami native and has a BA in Economics from Emory University and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. As an attorney, she worked in the criminal justice system, as well as private practice. Mahlia also teaches one of the modules for LEAP’s in-prison program.

Nancy Gillespie

Nancy is a retired, human development economist who previously worked with the World Bank, where her work had focused on increasing the equity, coverage, and quality of public programs aimed to increase opportunities for the poor. Continuing a 30+ year career dedicated to the areas of social protection and human development, Nancy currently serves on the LEAP board and is the Chair of the Programs and Services Committee of the Christel House International Board, a global education organization.

Rebecca ("Cafe") Brown
Secretary
Café is a graduate of the LEAP program. Now employed at Camillus House as a cook, Café is also an Evangelist and Theology student and a member of 100+ Women Who Care. She holds certificates from Miami-Dade College, Barry University, and JAX Baptist Theology Seminary, serves as a leader for a Human Trafficking Outreach Ministry, and conducts a Street Outreach Ministry. Café is also active in community volunteer work and campaigning for political candidates.
Silvana Roncal
President
Silvana has worked for the last 30 years in the finance industry, first as an investment banker and now as a wealth manager. She holds certifications as a portfolio management and alternative investment director. Silvana has held positions at Citibank, ANZ Bank, and currently is a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley advising international high net worth individuals and families. Silvana was one of LEAP’s first mentors and has raised funds as an Ironman competitor.
Trixie Belo-Osagie
Trixie is the CEO of SB Port Ventures, a construction company providing sustainable building to lean construction technology and management. In addition to her involvement in all aspects of the company’s activities and growth initiatives, Trixie, whose educational background is in International Relations and Public Administration and Policy, has led charitable initiatives as a Board member for two non-profits, the Playground Foundation Sierra Leone and Time Out for Africa. She has also planned and worked on numerous art exhibitions with African artists.
Radmila Lolly

Radmila Lolly is known for being an artist. She is a classical singer, composer and designer. She had the privilege to release both of her albums at the world renowned Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall.  Radmila moved to Miami 3 years ago, and with the advent of Covid, she was more motivated than ever to dive even more deeply into the philanthropic world.
